wondering if you can mix and match RSS feeds. Like would it be appropriate and or possible to include podcasts from Gcast in the same RSS feedburner as my blog?

Thanks,
chris

Help, help, help!!!
I've been trying to fix the code on my blog for the last 2 weeks so that it actually starts showing up on blog search engines, and I'm fighting a losing battle. I've managed to get about 70 subscribers so far, so I know that the RSS and email subscription signups are working ok. I'd signed on with feedburner beforehand, and everything looks ok with the code, but what do I know? FeedValidator also says that the feed is working ok.
If I post the opening code to my blog, can someone (anyone??) help me figure out why it won't show up on a blog search engine? At this point I'm willing to pay whoever can get it to show up :-O
Thanks,
Joanne

Elaine, I totally agree with you. Especially considering that I often forget that a large portion of my contribution to my PLC is my follow-up commenting, not just my blog posts. And, it has introduced me to some awesome blogs that I didn't always regularly read.

Steve, this whole challenge has been such a great exercise! I feel like it is making me not only a better blog writer but a better "blogizen" as well, encouraging me to comment on and read new blogs. Feedburner is something I needed to understand - thanks for heading me in the right direction!

Although I already used FeedBurner it was great to revisit my settings. For instance, I haven't updated my FeedFlare in about a year. I was able to add some new interactive functions to my feeds -- Tweet This, Post to Diigo, Post to FriendFeed, Post to Tumblr, etc. I also updated my CC license to reflect the updates I made earlier in this challenge. I really like the data about my subscribers that I can access through FeedBurner. FeedBurner is a great service to syndicate, optimize, and publicize blog content. Thanks for this challenge and inspiring my to spiffy up my feed.

This was another great task. I have to admit I didn't know I had choices other than Feedburner. I did update a few things and changed the size of the chicklet from large to small and, in the process, discovered that Google has purchased Feedburner. Hmmm.

Ah, Steve, this is the post I was waiting for. I'm going to try it tomorrow; I had started to do this once before and got sidelined by something I didn't "get." But I'll try again. Since the challenge, I've had several global readers (a first) and added Zemanta, CoComments, Snap-Shots and FriendFeed to my blogs. Am loving the learning.

I've been using feedburner since I started writing my blog a few months ago. I love all the features and usually check my stats daily. It's such a great service for free!
