How well do you know your EduBloggers? Via MyStudiyo.com
I saw a quiz that someone had created using MyStudiyo.com and was pretty impressed with… Well.. for lack of a more sophisticated reason, I was impressed with how pretty it was. I figured the best way to learn about something is just to try it out, so I decided to build a quiz about EduBloggers and of course, have a little fun while doing it
Just a few notes about MyStudiyo.com… I love the fact that you can embed in text, images, audio and video into quiz answers. Also, there are several differences between the ‘collaborative’ quizzes and non-collaborative. So make sure you explore both. Personally, I love the idea of collaborative quizzes, which is why I left this one open.
There were about 150 other Bloggers I wanted to add to the quiz, but a man only has limited time and resources. So I started off with 20, in no particular order (if there were a random feature, I would’ve used it!) I strongly encourage you to add yourself as well as other favorite bloggers to the quiz! It’s a great way to introduce people to the world of Educational Blogging and let them know about the people behind the blogs that they SHOULD know about, if they don’t already.

Steve,
What a great resource you tripped over and a pretty cool way you demonstrated it to our community!
Nice find!

Thanks for showing us MyStudiyo. It looks like a great tool to use in the classroom. I didn’t do too badly on the quiz either.

Pretty neat! But I’d like some indicator that there are multiple answers to a question. Or perhaps those indicators were there and I missed them?

Enjoyed that quiz although I found it hard as didn’t know all of the people, coming from UK and not having been in the ‘edublogosphrere’ too long! Still managed more than 50% though!

I got a 1600. Thanks for a cool tool!
I’ve been using Quibblo for this type of embeddable quiz but this looks nicer.

Hey, that was fun. I got a few right. I added my own, but got the linking syntax wrong, apparently. Didn’t find how to fix it. Oh well. Thanks for the interesting quiz.

Thanks for the great quiz Steve!
Here is the syntax for hyperlinks to work in any MyStudiyo quiz feedback text. You can add a link to your feedback (eg. http://www.mysite.com) which will open a new window when clicked. Or you can add a custom link by using the anchor-name text as follows:
[link:www.mysite.com, name:custom link name].
Note: leave a space prior to the opening square bracket.

I demand a recount there is no way I could get only 50 % right
. It’s as bad as the time I failed both the blogging addiction and Internet addiction test. I’m sure those that know me well would be surprise by failing addiction tests.
BTW really love the quiz thanks for showing us.

Okay, I only got 1200 (like Sue above me). But thanks for setting this up and sharing. Very fun (and informative to boot)!

So, I only got a 1300, but that’s because I didn’t realize I could choose multiple options until much too late!
Fun, and thank you so much for including me! I was so surprised to see my face up there with all of those experts! I also have to give due credit to Clay Burell who started the 1001 Flat Tales project for HS

Great quiz tool! Given that I am on the other side of the world, I don’t think I did too badly which shows I am getting way too geeky
I have had this tool sitting open on a tab for days now so this will inspire me to get going and try it out.
