Fortunately our admin is always piloting and experimenting with different new techologies, I’m doing a staff insevice in January on cooperative learning and this would be a great introductory oppotunity so yes, please include me.

i have been thinking about tweaking online polls into online quizzes for kids at home

I work for the same digital school as Melissa V above as an AYP Math coach. I think this polling would work well when working with students on questions and answers that have been on old proficiency tests.

Would be very willing to trial this out in the classroom. Sounds interesting! Have just recently had my students use cell phones to make podcasts (using Gabcast.com) Let me know if I can participate.

Science consultant working with 17 schools. Happy to do whatever I can. Can bank on a minimum of 2 or 3 schools who will be keen.

If they’re still looking for people to try this out, I’d like to give it a shot. I know our school just purchased one student response system as a pilot and it would be interesting to see if this could be a viable alternative.

I teach technology and social studies to 6th graders.

We’ve got instructors using PRS now who may be interested. I also have a group of 10 who are doing paper-based peer evaluations, if you think this may work. They basically have a list of 20 students who each get a number score in 3 areas.

Middle School teacher - as my kids would say - luv 2 gv it a try!

That definitely looks cool, but unfortunately cell phones are taboo in my school. No can do.

Steve, I would love to try this out. I was not able to attend your keynote at PETE&C but I just watched it on USTREAM and I went right to the site and checked it out. Pretty cool! Librarians are always looking for assessment tools!
