From the creator of the Machine is Us/ing Us:
I’m not a huge fan of people who keep pointing out the same problems that we’ve known about for years without sharing their ideas for solutions. While this video doesn’t share solutions, the fact that it was organized, researched and scripted by students makes a pretty bold statement about new solutions. Anyway, enjoy the video. Well worth watching a couple of times.

What a great video. It doesn’t offer “solutions”, but it does show give educators an idea of how “these students” learn as opposed to how we did it a decade or two ago. The simple fact that students had laptops in class, a project involved Google Docs and class-wide collaboration, and a final video was submitted to YouTube and blogged about on a professor’s blog…(wow), just shows us all that we need to be thinking about change.
It certainly got me thinking…
Great video Steve! Thanks for dropping in on my blog! We started an EDUwiki with teachers around PA on wikispaces. Feel free to drop join in on the fun…http://eduwikius.wikispaces.com. We’re open to all teachers around the US. There are some endless possibilities to it.
