Thanks Steve for writing back, I think I have things straight now and even created my Blog and have linked up to many others now using Bloglines. Anyway, this looks like a great site and resource for me so I will be checking in from time to time and maybe asking for more help and clarification.

Thanks

Hey Eric, thanks for taking the time to write!

I think you've got one wire crossed, and are confusing Google's Blogger with Bloglines. Blogger is a free blog engine where you can create your own blog, which sounds like what you're doing. BLoglines is not owned by Google, and is an aggregator, a site that you go to in order to read all the blogs you subscribe to in one central location. Google's aggregator is called Google Reader. Same thing as bloglines, just different :)

As to what to put there to make it great for your students... Well, that's a tricky one. Honestly, the best thing you can do IMHO is make your class more transparent. Give your students insight into what you're doing it class, WHY you're assigning the things you do, allow them to provide you feedback and QUESTION what you're doing in an acceptable, constructive way... And also demonstrate for them in real life the skills you want them learning. Show how YOU learn. What excites you, what disappoints you, what your questions are and how you go about finding answers. When you're passionate about your own learning and share that, it gets pretty contagious!

Good luck!

Wow, I really enjoyed the video posted here. I am just starting my Masters classes in Iplementing Technology in Education and did some reading on these very topics adn this video did a great job of reviewing the jumble of information in my head to help me make sense of it all. I will have to post a link for my clasmates so they can watch it if there kind of new to all this like myself.

I am creating a blog right now through Google bloglines, any recomadations for what to add to make it great for my students? Any advice woudl be welcomed.

Thanks
