Open Book Meme
There are two new sites that I’ve started playing around with quite a bit lately: Twitter and Ning. For each of these sites, I’ve been actively trying to find other friends and EduBloggers I know who are using them to add to my friends list. After all, they’re really designed for social networking, right?
Turns out that’s more complicated than it sounds. So perhaps its time for another meme. I hereby dub this the OpenBook Meme, as in, my life is an open book. All you need to do is post on your blog a list of links to the public side of your life. Sites you’re active on, messaging systems that you employ, places that you write, and so on. Don’t want them public? No worries, just list the stuff you don’t mind sharing.
Be sure to include the Technorati tag OpenBook.
UPDATE: While typing this up I saw Brett’s post about ShowYourself. Pretty cool, but until I have the ability to add my own and customize the order of them, I’m not sure it’s going to make its way into the ol’ sidebar yet.

[...] Steve Dembo over at teach42.com started an open book meme. I can’t say that I’ve ever really contributed to one, this one looks like it is pretty cool though. The premise of this meme is to show how your life is an open book, where do you put your name out and contribute? So here goes for me. [...]
[...] I was talking up how blogging has changed my life last night with a friend. The stream of conversation revealed something interesting about myself though…there’s more going on in between posts via the load of social networking technologies that I’m using. Steve Dembo is playing with a meme. It’s about being clickable. Here are my current stats. [...]
