[...] Teach42 has a good blog about a way for principals to set up a multi-user blog without using any code! James Farmer is at it again. The man who has brought you Edublogs.org, learnerblogs.org, uniblogs.org and eslblogs.org now brings you Edublogs Premium! In a nutshell, it’s basically like setting up your own personal copy of Wordpress Multiuser. In fact, it’s essentially give you your own ‘edublogs.org’ to do with as you will. [...]

[...] In related news, earlier this week I noted the new Edublogs Premium service, but I didn’t take the time to blog about it (though I saved a draft of course) and now Steve Dembo has beaten me to it. Check out his post on the subject: Edublogs Premium (Via Teach42.) [...]

Hey thanks Steve :)

Yeh, I know that you can certainly do it cheaper and a lot of tech savvy sorts do but what I want to do is to offer a really dressed up version of the software (complete with ace themes, plugins, useful hacks etc.) upgrades as we go along and all of that other good stuff that I've figured out over two years of hosting other peoples blogs :)

For example - with the regular WPMU you can't make your site completely private - it took me *weeks* to figure out how to do it right.

Anyway, enuf with the sales talk - thanks again for a v. kind write up.
