Discovery Educator Network - Wisconsin: A trip to Mars (almost!)
The aggregator may be getting a little neglected, but this one came through the inbox. I subscribe to all of the DEN blogs through email so I can always see the way things are being sent out to our email subscribers. So while doing a quick run through of the blogs posted by regional managers within the last 24 hours, I came across the latest offering from Google.
Google Mars is an incredibly detailed map of mars that you can explore like you would Google Maps. So now we have Google Earth, Google Moon and Google Mars. How long before Google Solar System is released?
Personally, I’m looking forward to Google Human Body and being able to zoom in to the cellular level to explore.

You may also want to check out NASA’s World Wind. It is similar to Google Earth, but it also includes 3D maps of both the Moon and Mars, as well as flat maps of other planets and moons as well.
