This is one of those incredibly cool things that I’ve been wanting to share but had to keep under wraps until now. Discovery Education has set up a series of live webinars with some of the biggest names in the EdTech world. Presenters will be doing a live presentation, and will hang around to answer questions from the audience! Oh yeah, if for some reason you can’t attend, don’t worry. The webinar is going to be recorded and posted for you to check out later. Just imagine how cool this archive is going to be!

The first event is scheduled for January 18th at 5pm Eastern. The speaker is going to be Hall Davidson, an expert in the field of Digital Media.

TOPIC: A walkthrough of the incredible wealth of teaching media resources available on the internet — videos, images, sounds, music, speeches, projects and more! Also, tips and tricks for making these resources accessible and friendly for students. And Hall will share with you a secret for ensuring that media resources can be tied to your own state standards.

Did I mention that the whole thing is FREE and open to the public? I love working for this company. They’re really doing some fantastic things for education.
