I was trying to think of a "pull" method for newbies. I was also thinking about it from a "profile" type of model. Create a few pre-packaged feeds targeted at different audiences. A package for librarians, a package for teachers, a package for school administrators, etc. Tell-a-Friend works really well…easily the most efficient “push” method.
