I did my first Google search of the day about 15 minutes after I arrived at school. I noticed in the upper left hand corner that Google logo looked a little different. Personally, I’ve always been a big fan of the artwork Google substitutes in for their logo on various occasions, so I clicked on it to pull it up larger. It was each letter drawn in chalk on a blackboard. After hovering my mouse over the logo, I discovered that today is National Teacher Day!
If you click on the Google logo, it brings you to a web search for the words “national teacher day”, which has a bunch of ideas for how to celebrate it. So send a teacher an e-card, or find some other way to celebrate the holiday. Pat a teacher on the back today and let them know how much you appreciate the infinite time and effort that they invest into educating our children.
Happy National Teacher Day one and all!

I really like the “share your Kool-Aid” idea! As one non-techie with a vision who is asking everyone with a Kool-Aid stand to share their recipe, let me say THANK YOU!
