The good stuff is starting to bubble.

Simulblogged with On The Cutting Edge-ucation

When I started podcasting, there were about two or three other educators who had given it a shot and nobody was doing it regularly. Early on, I often said that one of the main reasons that I was doing this was so to encourage other people to get started and give it a shot. More people means more ideas and it was pretty clear that some people would come up with some incredible ways to use this technology.

I just stumbled across an incredible educational idea. Over at Who Said?
Who Said — a literature game delivered as a podcast, Amy has taken the podcasting idea and turned it into a game. Every episode, Amy reads a short passage from a novel. You’re supposed to try to figure out who the character was, what book it was from and who the author was. It’s simple, it’s elegant and it’s a brilliant idea.

This is one reason why I’m so excited by podcasting. It’s not simply because of what I’m currently seeing it being used for, it’s because of where I see it going.
