Hello,

I totally feel wanting to be at "home" with your childhood school.... I currently sub at the elementary school I went to - infact I was one of the first students there... it opened when I was in 4th grade.... my 4th grade teacher is still there - it would be the perfect dream come true to be a teacher there - I feel for you!

[...] Somebody did a search for the words, “Describe the skills or attributes you believe are necessary to be an outstanding teacher.” For those of you that haven’t applied for a teaching job for a few years, that’s basically the standard essay question that just about every school application seems to have (at least here in Illinois). As my kids would say, "D00d, u r done!"
Just send them a link to this blog. Can you say it better than this? No. Make your answers electronic and send them you web site with access to your blogs and podcast and, viola! You're back in the saddle as we say down here in the Lone Star State. :)
