Steve,Just listened to the Warlick podcast. My grade one class has been blogging since January (It take until them to get them reading and writing). They love it. Even the unmotivated, non writers begin to write with Blogmeister. If you would like to take a look at their work I can email you our password. Great work! You might also be interested in the blog I do for my class. The difference between the September blog(non readers and writers) and the May blog is interesting. Check out http://www.schoolblogs.com/val. val

Steve,
We have been using Dave's awsome tools in our classes for several years. My personal favorite is the Book Shelf feature in PiNet Library. The way these book shelves integrate with the class pages is priceless. It has a link bot to insert into your browser tool bar and it works better than .MAC or the WordPress Linkbot. My teachers like the bookshelf sharing. Saves them time.

Steve,

Thanks for taking Dave's wonderful site and hitting the highlights. You brought out things I had yet to find there. I get tunnel vision as I start out on one item, then find myself about 40 links to the wind and so far away from my original spot that I've forgotten where I started!

Nice work!

It's funny, because I knew that there was a blogmesiter blog that I subscribe to and read regularly, but I just couldn't remember what it was! I was trying to figure out which it was so I could use it as an example. Turns out it was Strolling through the Orchard :) That's the only trouble with blogs in one sense; they all look the same through an aggregator. Thanks for pointing it out, I'm adding it to the show notes.

Wow, I'm also adding the link to Teachnology's interview with Kathy Schrock because I just realized I left it off!

Hi Steve,
We have had a pretty good go at Blogmeister. Take a look. We are in New Zealand.

Dave's blogging tool is excellent, SAFE (which is what we all want) and easy and intuitive to use.

I enjoy and am inspired by your podcasting. I often listen when I am doing the dishes !

Steve,

Great show on Dave Warlick's tools. I just started listening to his podcast (clueless me!) because I found Blog Meister on the Schrock Guide! Wow! What incredible tools he has available. Thanks for taking us through them. Great show!

Thanks, as well, for mentioning the Kathy Schrock Interview podcast on your show--very nice of you.

I have to confess, I'm guilty of signing up for Blog Meister a few weeks ago (over spring break) and not using it yet. But it's too great of a tool to let go unused. CSAP (our state tests) is just about over, so I'll be able to get going on it soon. It's not really a good excuse because I really could have started it during the testing time, but it would have been so "hit-and-miss" with classes and students, I would've gone nuts. :-)

Anyhow--great work, my friend. I always learn something (in many cases, several things) from your show.

Keep up the hard work (please!).
