Cubscast.com · The World’s First Chicago Cubs Podcast (It’s Free)
This has nothing to do with Education or Technology. However, when you can see into Wrigleyfield from the fourth floor stairwell in your school, you get excited about something like this 
Cubscast.com! I’m downloading it now, but I think Podcasting is really starting to come into its own. If I’m interested in the Cubs, I could tune into Sports Radio. Hopefully they’ll talk about the Cubs during my commute home, and not the Bears, Bulls, Rush, White Sox, Blackhawks (sheeya, right), U of Illinois, March Madness, football draft, steriods controversy or Chicago Fire (the OTHER football).
Or I could just listen to Cubscast. I never have to worry about missing the beginning or commercials. I want a seperate podcast for every major sports team that I follow.

I know Cubs fans are rabid, but listening to a game AFTER it’s over? Steve, come on!
I know, it’s Cubs talk, but it sounded like a live broadcast when I first read it; Cubscast.
That certainly is more timely content, not one you’d go back to the archives for!
And what are the “Rush”?

Hi Steve,
Thanks so much for posting about the Cubscast.com site on Teach42! Just wanted to let all the Cubs fans (or podcasting fans, or fans of bleu cheese) out there know that Cubscast does audio commentary after the game. This way we can make sure our “keys to the game” are always dead-on. Just kidding. There’s probably a legal issue with podcasting direct commentary on the game during the game and soforth.
So anyway, just wanted to clarify. Teachers rule (I also get a point from my wife for saying that and meaning it) and so does Spring Break so have a nice one. GO CUBS!
