Now this is a del.icio.us tool

The job search is seriously eating into my free time. Unfortunately this means that blogging and podcasting is taking a backseat for right now. It’s too bad because there are so many things that I want to blog about, but so little time to do it right now. C’est la vie, eh?

Well, onwards with the Tech Tip of the Day. Do you use del.icio.us? If so, then you absolutely MUST bookmark this page. Matt Bidulph has created a tool that shows “where you’ve made different del.icio.us tags with the same English word stem.” You may be asking yourself, so what? What’s the big deal? Well, it will search through all your tags and help you clean them up! I ran it through for my name and it pointed out that I have 5 sites tagged with “tool”, but I also have 2 tagged with “tools”. I also have 10 sites tagged with “Pocast”, but another five tagged with “Podcasting”. Pretty slick, eh? Incredibly useful.

Now go clean up your tags!
