Teach42

Ok, I was just doing a search on Technorati, and since I’m really vain, occasionally I do a search on my own name or on “teach42″. Lo and behold, I found a reference to my podcast!

I’ve been having a blast downloading music from iTunes and exploring the new world of podcasting. I listened to Dawn and what’s his name and was not impressed. Sorry…I suppose it’s funny in a kitchy kind of way but I was much happier with teach42 and have already set up my del.icio.us account. I’ve had a backflip account for years but haven’t used it recently and wasn’t happy with the folder system because stuff did need to be crossfiled. Can’t wait to get some time to do some experimenting with tags and rss feeds.

I can only assume that Karen was refering to me and my podcast about del.icio.us a few weeks back. It has totally made my day finding out that A) someone else out there is really listening, B) they actually learned something from my ‘cast, C) went out and tried something new because of it and D) enjoyed me more than Dawn and Drew

Wow. Time to do the Happy Snooy Dance again!

BTW, when I visited the Dawn and Drew site yesterday, I saw that they had a sidebar link to vote directly on Podcast Alley. So in an effort to shamelessly promote myself, I’ve stolen the code, tweaked it and added it to my sidebar. Please, be honest. If you think I stink, vote appropriately. You won’t hurt my feelings… much But if you listen to the show, it’s another way you can provide me with some feedback.
