“What’s weblogging?” Let Shelby tell you!
Shelby, one of Anne Davis’ fifth grade Blooming Bloggers, has this to say!
If someone came up to you and asked you what weblogging was, what would you say? I would say exactly this. Weblogging is when you can have the freedom to express yourself, and write about whatever you want to! You have to be careful when you write because you could be writing in front of the whole world! At first, I was very excited about having ownership over my own weblog, and the excitement keeps building!!!
Organization, lots of details, improving details, a good lead, having good word choice, descriptive writing, having a flow in your writing, using thought provoking questions, and using vivid vocabulary are just some of the things that my fellow bloggers and I have to worry about while writing our posts.
I am very proud to be in a member of a community that includes students like Shelby. Most of the Blooming Bloggers posted this morning about what blogging is and why they think it’s significant. They have some fascinating things to say. You can find links to the students’ pages in the lower left of their class page.
