Great article on Classroom Blogging
While responding to a question from a colleague (I’ll be posting that conversation later once I get through editing it a bit), I stumbled across this post by Austin Lingerfelt. It’s a very well written article about Classroom Blogging. It isn’t simply a glowing review of it. It points out some of the challenges and failures that people have experienced as well. However, it really does a great job of explaining some of the possible uses for classroom blogs as well as presenting the opinions of both students and teachers.
It’s mostly framed with university students in mind, but most of it applies to the elementary setting as well. Definitely worth a bookmark!
