MSNBC - Tivo for your iPod
I’m exhausted from a poker game last night, but saw this article and wanted to share. I think the name is rather decieving, since we’re talking audio, not video, we’re talking about new shows for the most part, not current radio shows (excluding some BBS and Air America) and it works for all MP3 players, not just iPod. But it’s nice to see it getting even more press. I did play around with podcasting a bit more on Thursday night and think I can both smooth out hte process as well as make it sound a whole lot better and intend to do so today or tomorrow. What I like about blogs is that they don’t take too long to do. You have an idea, you type it up, you walk away. I’d love to make podcasting the same. I have something I want to say, I say it, I walk away. I think I’m getting close to getting to that point. Maybe I’ll pick up a microphone today.
Read the article if you get a chance. Besides the misleading title, it’s got a nice description of why podcasting is making such a stir.
